I love ice cream....and I like easy....
And besides that, I'm refusing to do anything pumpkin until the temperture
drops below 80 degrees.
After my family went out for bbq last night, we come home to enjoy this simple dessert
of Krispie Ice Cream.
It is supposed to taste like fried ice cream.
Though I've never had fried ice cream, I would imagine it to taste like this.
3 3/4 cups of Rice Krispie Cereal (I used the Gluten Free)
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 gallon of ice cream or frozen yogurt, softened (I used frozen yogurt)
In a large bowl, mix the Rice Krispies with the softened butter & brown sugar.
Yum.....this is a great combination.
Bet you can't resist trying it....
Spread half of the Rice Krispie mixture on the bottom of a large dish.
Spread the softened ice cream over this.
Sprinkle the remaining half of Rice Krispie mixture over the top of ice cream.
Top it with some Caramel Ice Cream Syrup.
Place in freezer until set and ready to serve.
Do not be like me........you must close the freezer door all the way or the ice cream will not set...duhhh
Top with a little more caramel syrup before serving.
